Terms of Service & Passenger Agreement

Welcome to CK Oneway Taxi. By accessing our website (www.ckonewaytaxi.com), utilizing our online booking tools, scheduling rides via phone or WhatsApp, or boarding any of our commercial fleet vehicles, you formally acknowledge and agree to be bound by the following comprehensive Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully before reserving our services.

1. Scope of Service & Platform Role

CK Oneway Taxi operates a dedicated intercity and outstation passenger transportation platform connecting travelers with verified commercial passenger vehicles (Yellow Board tourist vehicles). Our service offerings include point-to-point one way taxi drops, round-trip holiday packages, airport transfers, corporate transportation, and hourly car rentals across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Pondicherry.

2. User Eligibility & Booking Authenticity

To book and utilize our transportation services:

• You must be at least 18 years of age or possess legal capacity under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Minors traveling without an adult guardian must present written parental consent prior to vehicle departure.
• You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information regarding your full legal name, active mobile contact number, email address, pickup address, and drop-off destination. Supplying fictitious details or unverified phone numbers may result in immediate cancellation of your booking without compensation.
• A reservation is considered legally confirmed only when our automated dispatch system issues a unique 6-digit Booking ID accompanied by an SMS or WhatsApp confirmation receipt.

3. Fare Calculations, Kilometers & Minimum Billing Thresholds

Our pricing architecture is established on strict transparency:

• One Way Taxi Drops: Distance is calculated strictly point-to-point from your pickup doorstep to your drop-off destination using certified digital odometer telemetry. A standard minimum billing threshold of 130 kilometers applies to all one-way drops to cover initial vehicle positioning. Any distance traveled beyond 130 km is billed at our published per-kilometer vehicle rate.
• Round Trips: Outstation round trips are billed based on a standard minimum billing threshold of 250 kilometers per calendar day. If actual distance exceeds 250 km multiplied by the number of trip days, extra kilometers are billed at the agreed vehicle per-km tariff.
• Driver Allowance (Batta): A single driver allowance is charged per calendar day to cover the chauffeur's food and lodging expenses. A standard night driver allowance applies for trips operating between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.

4. Highway Tolls, Border Permits, Parking & Taxes

Unless an all-inclusive corporate corporate package is explicitly contracted in writing, our base tariff quotes exclude external statutory statutory charges:

• National Highway Tolls: Electronic FASTag toll deductions incurred during your forward journey are payable strictly at actuals. You are never billed for vehicle return toll gates on one-way trips.
• Interstate State Border Taxes: If your journey crosses state boundaries (e.g., from Tamil Nadu into Karnataka or Kerala), RTO commercial passenger vehicle entry permits are settled by the passenger against official government receipts.
• Parking Fees & Municipal Hill Taxes: Commercial airport terminal parking fees, railway station access charges, and municipal green taxes (e.g., Ooty or Kodaikanal entry fees) are the direct responsibility of the passenger.

5. Passenger Conduct, Decorum & Vehicle Preservation

To ensure the safety, comfort, and hygienic environment of our fleet for all riders:

• Strict Prohibition on Smoking & Alcohol: Smoking, vaping, and the consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages inside CK Oneway Taxi vehicles is strictly forbidden under the Motor Vehicles Act and corporate safety standards.
• Zero Tolerance for Illegal Substances: Transporting illegal narcotics, psychotropic drugs, firearms, explosives, hazardous chemicals, or contraband goods is strictly prohibited. The chauffeur is legally mandated to immediately halt the vehicle at the nearest police station if such substances are discovered.
• Vehicle Cleanliness & Damage Liability: Passengers are expected to treat vehicles with care. Any intentional vandalism, tearing of upholstery, or severe soiling requiring professional detailing (such as sickness resulting from alcohol intoxication) will incur a minimum detailing fee of ₹1,000 payable directly by the passenger.

6. Chauffeur Rights & Route Decisions

Our chauffeurs are certified commercial driving professionals responsible for passenger safety on high-speed expressways:

• Speed Governor Compliance: Chauffeurs must operate within statutory speed limits mandated by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH). Passengers may not compel drivers to violate speed limits, jump traffic lights, or engage in reckless driving to meet unrealistic personal schedules.
• Safe Route Discretion: In the event of highway blockades, flooding, landslides, or civil unrest, the chauffeur—in consultation with our central operations control room—reserves the right to choose safer alternative diversions even if they entail additional travel distance.
• Right to Refuse Service: A chauffeur reserves the right to terminate a journey if a passenger exhibits violent, abusive, threatening, or sexually inappropriate behavior toward the driver. In such circumstances, no fare refund will be issued.

7. Luggage Capacity & Baggage Disclaimers

Passengers must observe vehicle trunk capacities outlined in our official Luggage Policy. Sedans accommodate up to 2 standard suitcases; SUVs accommodate up to 4 suitcases. Passengers are personally responsible for their baggage:

• Valuable possessions, currency, gold jewelry, laptops, cameras, and sensitive legal documents must remain in the passenger's personal custody inside the cabin.
• CK Oneway Taxi and its drivers accept no legal liability for accidental loss, misplacement, or damage to fragile personal items transported in luggage trunks.

8. Limitation of Liability & Force Majeure

While CK Oneway Taxi enforces stringent fleet maintenance schedules and punctual dispatch protocols, the company shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

• Unforeseeable highway traffic jams, severe monsoon waterlogging, bridge closures, vehicle breakdowns, or highway accidents caused by third parties.
• Missed airline flights, railway departures, business meetings, or event appointments where passengers scheduled insufficient travel buffer times contrary to our recommended lead times.
• Force Majeure occurrences including acts of God, cyclones, epidemics, civil strikes (bandhs / hartals), or statutory government travel bans.

9. Intellectual Property & Digital Usage Rights

All website design elements, brand logos, software code, tariff computation algorithms, written content, and visual assets on www.ckonewaytaxi.com are the exclusive intellectual property of CK Oneway Taxi. Unauthorized copying, scraping, automated bot querying, or commercial reproduction of our tariffs without written consent is strictly prohibited.

10. Governing Law & Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal disputes, claims, or arbitration proceedings arising out of or in connection with our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent civil courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
